Q. 1 Can I register for the event offline? How?​

You can register offline on the day of the event (26 November 2021) at Za’abeel Park, Gate 3. Due to Covid guidelines, we cannot, however, guarantee entry or the availability of your t-shirt size. It is advisable to register online before the event.

Q2. How will I receive my kit?

You will first receive a confirmation email for the event. There is no need to present this for entry on the day, as the Events Team will have your registration details on file.

All those who register in the first three weeks will be guaranteed delivery of the Beat Diabetes Kit, which includes a blue shirt to be worn on the day. Please come to the day wearing your blue Beat Diabetes shirt for seamless entry to the park.

Q3. I registered online 5 days before the event. When will I get my Kit?

Anyone who pre-registers online in the week leading up to the event will be provided with the Kit on the day.

 

PAYMENT

Q4.  What is the cost of registration?

Adult registration fees (18 years of age and above): 20 AED

Adolescent registration fees (8 years of age – 17 years): 10 AED

Children registration fees (7 years of age and below): Free entry

Q5. Do I have to pay up front when I book online/can I receive an invoice?​

Yes. Payment is required up front.

Q6. What types of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.

Q7. Where will the proceeds from this event go?

All funds raised through registration fees will go to support the research and treatment of diabetes through our strategic partner for the event, Al Jalila Foundation.

 

AT THE EVENT

Q8. Is there an age limit on who can attend?

This is a family event and we encourage all members to participate, regardless of age.

Q9. Where can I park my car?

We encourage all participants to use public transportation on the day to reduce carbon emissions and to avoid any parking issues.

There will be parking available at the venue, however this is not free of charge and is managed by the park.

Q10. Which gate can I enter from?

You can enter from gate 3, Za’abeel Park

Q11. Do I have to pay park entry fees?

No. As a participant, you are granted free access to the Za’abeel Park for the event.

Q12. Do I have to wear my mask at the event?

Yes. Due to the nature of the event and the volume of participants expected to be at the park, masking and maintaining a safe distance throughout the day is required.

More information about our COVID-19 safety measures will be provided closer to the date of the event.

Q13. Where can I get involved on social media?

You can find all our social media links via our website https://www.beatdiabetes.me/ae/en. There will also be event-specific hashtags that will we share with you at the event.

Q14. How can I facilitate Special Access requirements?

If you have any special access requirements, please contact us at beat.diabetes@landmarkgroup.com Upon registration and we can make necessary arrangements to enable your attendance to this event.

Q15. My company is interested in sponsoring the event, how do we get involved?
